Story synopsis:



Ever sympathized with the villains before?
Shortly after being defeated in the Life Realm, Akuron and his allies find themselves in the Underworld to be eternally punished for failing their lord, Armageddon. Should they accept their fate or should they fight back and seize this chance to escape from this forsaken place?

The Underworld is a complex place and is very different to the realm of the living. It’s floating in its entirety within dark void and contains numerous sectors and other locations, many of which are fake replicas of places from the Life Realm. All the inhabitants in the Underworld submit to powerful demon warlocks, and those who transgress get severely punished for it. And lastly, nobody can permanently die in the Underworld, souls and monsters alike, for they all are dead already.

Now a small group of souls bands together in order to locate the exit from the Underworld. On their journey they must flee close encounters with demon warlocks and other guards, and to face not only the demons of the present, but also the demons of their past as well. This journey will break these former villains and turn them into heroes that they always deserved to be.

Once upon a time, the world fell prey to a cruel demon. Azazel The Fallen ravaged the lands, leaving misery and death in its wake. A group of young people banded together and traveled the world in search of a way to defeat him. They forged friendships, found true love and struggled with the possibility of betrayal in their midst. In six short months, they developed extraordinary strength and skills they did not know they possessed. When they finally met Azazel on the battlefield, they fought with glory and pride. As the hero delivered the mortal blow, the world went quiet, barely daring to breathe. Without their leader, the demon armies retreated back into the night. At last, the world rejoiced.

It has been fifteen years since Azazel fell. The world has changed and its people moved on. Alistair is now trying to live a normal life, tucked away in a small, sleepy village. But a casual visit from an old acquaintance threatens to propel him back into a world of adventure - whether he likes it or not!

Embark on a journey to explore the world and the unique perspective of what happens to said world once the fairytale of might and magic is over.

When a party for a wealthy family’s ten year old daughter ends with the birthday girl dead, her older sister missing, and the father refusing to call the police, the detective isn’t exactly conventional. She finds herself at the site of the crime – a rented out old mansion – without any trace of memory. It’s the landlady who tells her that she is a private investigator who’s been hired to catch the culprit and bring them to justice.

But how can she solve a murder when she can’t even deduce her own name? Was it one of the party goers who did the young guest of honor in? …Or was it the ghost said to wander the haunted halls? Can she manage to find the missing girl before another tragedy takes place?

…And will she be able to sleuth out her own memories and the meaning behind their disappearance at the same time?

Amongst the farthest reaches of the universe, there is a starry galaxy known as the FaefyiGalaxy. Amongst this galaxy is a lush, beautiful little planet called Pix. This planet is inhabited by the galaxy's most respected magical beings, the fairies, and on their home planet they flutter about with their wings and enjoy a peace and tranquility... Untill now.

One day, everything on planet pix seemed to be like any other day, blissful and quiet. Suddenly, a dark haze envelopes the entire planet, blocking out the sun and covers the land with darkness. Several comets suddenly drop from this haze, and what comes out when they crash onto the ground? Beasts, and other bizarre creatures that one can only imagine existing. They attack the citizens and wreak havoc whevever they go, sending this once-peaceful world into a panic. Up in the dark sky, a cloaked figure gazes upon the mayhem and laughs. The Space Demon, Lord Grimm of Darkness, has arrived to conquer planet Pix.

Among the violence caused by the monsters, a small, green-haired fairy rushes to a shrine. She bows down and makes a wish to the stars, her message became a star and flew off into space. Somewhere among the Fairy Galaxy, a space ship hovers slowly, carrying a sleeping, white-haired fairy wearing pink boxing gloves and a star-stubbed sports top. Suddenly, the ship sounds an alarm, awaking the fairy abruptly. The alarm has detected a wish to a Galaxy Warrior, and a planet is in deep trouble. This young warrior's name is Tina, and she sets her ship to warp speed to travel to the planet Pix. While this little fairy doesn't really know what she has to do yet, she has a feeling that she is about to embark on a quest that is larger than her small size.

Species: Star Fairy
Tina, is a cheery fairy whose powers are derived from stars. Since she was a young fairy, she always had a fascination in punching things and beating people up. This caused problems during her early days, but luckily, the head of the fabled Galaxy Warriors immediately took interest in her, and she has been training to become a fighter ever since. It is said Tina has a "switch" that turns her from a lovable, cheery young girl to a ferocious, merciless brawler. Regardless, she is all you could ever ask for a friend, provided you aren't starting trouble.

Species: Fairy
Dori is one of the many fairy denizens of planet Pix. She is very kindhearted and caring for others, yet she is also terribly shy and doesn't show much trust for strangers. She is a lonely fairy girl who wants to have a friend who will stick by her side, which is part of the reason why she wished for a hero to save the planet. Just as the wish was finished, however, she was captured by the demon Grimm and was promptly imprisoned. Dori waits for someone she can call a friend to save her.

Species: An Evil Spirit
Bearing a wicked glare on his face, Lord Grimm finds nothing more interesting to do than to inspire fear in the hearts of people. He came from outer space to conquer the planet Pix and rid the universe of both Faries and Galaxy Warriors. While no one knows the reason for this, its believed he had some sort of grudge with the species since the beginning of time. Using the power to create monsters, Sir Grimm littered planet Pix with hostile creatures to terrorize civilians. Can Tina stop him?

Fool Ghoul

Fool Ghouls are one of the lowest ranking monsters in Grimm's army, for a reason. They have the intellect of two-year old children, and they never seem to do anything right. The best attacks they do is simply charging into people, even so, it's most likely on accident. In spite of their names, they are not actually ghosts, but reanimated handkerchiefs.

When Grimm realized that Tina has come to planet Pix to oppose him, he cast a spell which brought the skulls of the deceased to life. Bonehead was programmed with a tendency to stalk anyone that catches their interests, mainly Galaxy Warriors. They are slow-moving, but don't let them catch up to you!

A flying cyclops that preys on anything that stirs below it, especially tasty fairies. They are fast, and they hover over any wall, but their paths are predictable.

Wheelin

A living wheel with a disgruntled look on its face. It drives back and forth in hopes of running someone over. A strange fact about these monsters is that they have two brains located on each side of the wheel.

Bon

These elemental beasts of Lord Grimms army bear a maniacal grin and hot-blooded (quite literally) personalities. They exhaust their fiery energy quickly, however, and often need to take naps to recharge. This is when they are most vulnerable.

Targit
Posted Image
Targits are "dummy monsters" created only for Grimm to hone his battling skills. Somehow, they escaped his domain and found their way into planet Pix. They do nothing in particular, and are only available to fight in bonus games.

Perforato
Posted Image
When Tina arrived to planet Pix, Lord Grimm cast a curse which would turn any monster on the field into the indestructible Perforato if Tina does not destroy the beasts in a given time. Clear those monsters fast, or succumb to the power of this deadly foe!

Tina of the Stars is an action game with a focus on clearing the level within a given time. The objective of the game is to clear out all monsters on the screen. Unfortunately, Tina is very weak early on and a single touch from an enemy can kill her. However, every level is filled with stars for you to collect. Once you get all the stars in a stage, you can achieve your "powered" form and go on a rampage!

Controls:
ARROW KEYS: Move Tina

'A' KEY: Pause the game

... That is all you need to play Tina of the Stars!

Game Objects:
HUD: These include you Lives and a timer. You are given a maximum of 3 lives in the game. If Tina comes in contact with a monster outside of her powered form, she will lose one life. If all lives are lost, then the game is over.

Tina can recover lives in two ways. The primary way is by eating a magical fruit called a Peacheak, which appears randomly when an enemy is defeated in Tina's powered phase (you will hear a sound confirming its presence). The second is by successfully clearing the 2nd bonus stage in the desert world of the game. Note that both life gains will only occur if you are below 3 lives.

Every level has a unique amount of time for you to complete, displayed at the upper right hand corner of the screen. If the timer runs out, the "Perforato" enemy will appear and kill Tina, costing you a life. It is recommended that you keep moving to collect stars and defeat foes to avoid running out of time.

STARS: Stars are scattered about each level. Tina must collect all these in order to obtain invincibility and defeat the monsters in the field. There are certain areas, like the bonus games and final boss battle, that don't require stars to complete.

MONSTERS: Every area, except for bonus games, has a certain amount of monsters you need to defeat. Initially, Tina is vurnable, as if she comes in contact with a monster before collecting all the stars, she will lose a life. However, when Tina becomes powered, she is immune to monster attacks and can defeat them by walking straight into them. The "punched" monster will be launched towards a wall and explode, turning into a gold coin. Tina may collect these coins to convert to bonus points at the end of a level.

Special Areas:
BONUS GAME #1: This is a game where you attack as many "Targit" enemies as possible to gain points. The game ends once the timer runs out.

BONUS GAME #2: This is a memory game. Tina is required to form a shape out of pink blocks within a given set of time. If Tina touches a "good" block, the block will be destroyed, but if Tina touches a "wrong" block, the game will end, and no bonuses will be rewarded.

FINAL LEVEL: This is the only boss fight in the game, the time where Tina finally faces Lord Grimm himself. Put your skills to the test and defeat Grimm for the good of your planet!

Tips:
- Try to learn the movement patterns of the enemies in the game. You can find ways to exploit these patterns to your advantage.

- You do not need to collect all of the gold coins that pop out from monsters to clear the level. If you are running out of time, make some sacrifices.

- The faster your clear time, the more bonus points you will receive during the end of a level.

This demo starts you off in Eric's hometown, Frosthinder. You are being summoned by the town Elder, about a build up of monsters on the outskirts of the village.  


I am looking for feedback on anything you notice in the game-play, story line, and/or leveling system.  Any critiquing is welcomed, as this is my first attempt at making an RPG, and I would like to make it a fun, full-fledged game.


Future On This Project:

I am in the process of learning Ruby, to make more features and events for this game.  I am also contemplating on learning how to use Photoshop better to make more icons for items and/or tiles.  Any suggestions on tutorials and/or books are welcomed as well.

The downside is that, they do not gain levels and cannot change equipment.

Now a small group of souls bands together in order to locate the exit from the Underworld. On their journey they must flee close encounters with demon warlocks and other guards, and to face not only the demons of the present, but also the demons of their past as well. This journey will break these former villains and turn them into heroes that they always deserved to be.

- 7 playable characters, each with their own weapon preference and special moves
- Travel through a variety of sci-fi locations, ranging from space stations to mutant labs, utopian cities to battle-torn cities, underwater bases to robot factories, and many others
- A story that’s full of twists and turns at every corner!
- Badass boss fights which will challenge you
- A battle system that allows characters swapping during the battle, which provides the player with a chance to optimize their strategy and involve the whole cast to take part in those challenging boss battles
- Complete various side quests by helping out the people in the cities
- A chance to make in-game decisions and build relationships with your team members, which will affect not only the ending, but also some of the future events too
- A single dynamic ending that changes its disposition between good, neutral, and bad, depending on major in-game decisions


The Plot:


This story takes place on a small group of planets and space stations dominated by a Sophorian alien race. In their society they also have some humans and one other alien race. The humans are said to be the survivors of an apocalypse and have come from the planet Gaia, which is now known to be a war-torn wasteland. The Sophorians still continue to look for more human survivors, however, and fully integrate them into their society. The latest human arrivals have been put on the space station Chimera.

However, a few months later a conflict had occurred on Chimera. One of the humans created a small following and initiated a rebellion against the Sophorian government. The Sophorian government responded to it incredibly quickly and immediately issued troops to quarantine the entire station and kill every human on it!

Why was there a need for such drastic measures? And why did that small group of humans revolt so suddenly? What’s Sophorian government planning exactly and with what purpose? It is now up to you to start your journey amidst the conflict on Chimera, travel from planet to planet, assemble a team, and eventually get to the bottom of this.

What it is?

Kingdom The Clans is first installment in “The Clans” series. It tells story about foolish Okami Hyou, her best friend Kitsune, a bit pyromaniac Mahou and a bookworm Butsu.

Prologue

On a distant land, far far away...

Okami Hyou decided it would be ideal for her to make contract with the king, to bring her an old artifact which has been rumored to hold an untold power. But deadline was vastly approaching and the king was growing impatient by every passing moment. Then she with Kitsune and Mahou decided that it would be good idea to hire legendary thief called Ghostly Winds. It was rumored that he or she was residing in the nearby INN, which happened to be only INN in the village.

Okami and others entered to that INN and saw a hooded albeit bit short figurine cloaked in a shadows. Okami approached Ghostly Winds and bluntly stated her request to find said artifact even if he or she would need to steal it for them. Ghostly Winds agreed upon and a next day artifact was on their hideout’s doorsteps along with a letter “Better pay as promised or vampires will get you Okami.”

And so foolish Okami forgot to pay and next day they started to deliver the artifact for King Steve. However little did they knew that so called Ghostly Winds was just an impostor who planned to kill them to hide his or her tracks and take the artifact back afterwards.

Ghostly Winds impostor was furious and came up with a new devilish plan. He or she went back to Vampstle Castle and placed a note inside of the same chest where artifact was stolen from. That note would make castle’s owner called Deaux Excimus rather furious and go after Okami and her party.

Big thanks to Seraphim Creations (and Lato) for aiding me with this project. It is a big undertaking after all.

What it is?
The story follows adventures of Okashi and her loyal brother Kishimura who are in fact playing a new game called “The Clans Gaiden” which game out in their city. They want to play it so badly that they are not even bothering to take the trash out which is rotting on their kitchen inside the house.

No time they get hooked to that game and their first mission is to bring back a few missing clan members. They forget passing of time and begin to roleplay their “roles” immediately. Eventually they meet Okami and CO in that game and get hooked even more. However something sinister is brewing in the shadows and their first quest is just the beginning.

Please note that every portrait will be custom made to have quality like this.

Okashi / Yami Tsugi clan

Likes girls, hates guys. Only male she can barely tolerate is her brother. Claims to defend her brother even though is one in safe distance while her brother takes most of the hits.

Kishimura / Chi Tsugi clan

Okashi’s brother who believes that his duty is to stand as a shield for his rather ungrateful sister. Believes to following the orders even when he personally disagrees with them.

Joey Handsome / Yami Tsugi clan

Joined to Yami Tsugi clan because dubious reasons. Top of that he is male which makes situation even weirder. Tries to get loved by Okashi but so far his attempts have failed due being generally very creepy guy.

Okami Hyou / Chi Tsugi clan

A foolish person who happens be also from a rich family who has close ties with Chi Tsugi clan. She does almost anything if he gets paid.

Kitsune / Rai Tsugi clan

A rather sarcastic fellow, likes to hang out with Okami Hyou for some strange reason. She doesn’t care about her supposed quest to beat her Kung-Fu master in a duel to take over Dojo like traditions say.

Mahou / Yami Tsugi clan

A mage with slight tendency towards pyromancy. However overall she is rather stable and modest person who does not brag about her power that much however she suffers from various phobias at times like fear of ghosts.

Butsu / Rai Tsugi clan

She is supposed to be an archeologist but is either very bad at it. Has thieving tendencies even though her main hobbies include reading and throwing books at enemies.

General Bastardo / Vampire clan

He is Deaux Excimus’ brother and has great plans to assume more powerful position and might even try to convince members of the other clans to aid him. Has a long standing grudge with Deaux Excimus about who is better to lead their branch of the clan.

Often takes someone as her nemesis because of wrong reasons which she deludes itself to be right ones. Most of her minions don’t get a second chance if they fail and thus her “trusted” Vampires often hide their failures from her. Should someone admit their mistakes she sees as a weakness and then she uses Dark Edge on them. On that note, it is her favorite sword too.
